Golf Places Fourth at AAC Fall Championships

The #3 Brenau golf team placed fourth at the AAC Fall Championships at Wasioto Winds Golf Courts in Pineville, Kentucky on Tuesday.

The team shot a two-day 645 (320-325) to place behind Milligan (Tn.) College (614), Tennessee Wesleyan College (624) and SCAD-Atlanta (630).

Individually, Niquole Mangal (75-79-154) led the Golden Tigers with a solid fifth place finish, while freshman Macie Hurst placed in a tie for 20th place (81-81-162).

Sara Jane Bowers shot 81-82-163 for a 23rd place finish, and Ashley Omidi (83-83-166) and Amber Clayton (90-84-174) placed tied for 28th and tied for 37th place respectively.

The Golden Tigers next travel to play at St. Andrews College in Laurenburg, NC on October 23-24.
