Lazar Wins Golden Tiger of the Week Award

Gainesville, Ga- Sophomore infielder Lana Lazar (Sharpsbur) has been named Golden Tiger of the Week for the week of Feb. 23-March 2. The transfer from Florida International was an instrumental part of the Tigers success last weekend as they swept Faulkner and defeated and tied #22 AUM. Lazar had four hits in the wins over Faulkner and came back with three more hits, including two doubles and two RBI's in the AUM series. The Tigers are off to a 10-1-1 start and will resume play next Tuesday with a doubleheader against SSAC Brewton Parker at the Lanier Point Softball Complex with games scheduled at 5-7 pm.
