Brenau picked up the first two runs of the game with Tiffany Schandera (2- 4) and Sally Duggan (1-3) taking a 1 RBI apiece. Brenau was 2-0 up in the game until the sixth inning when Brewton Parker picked up their first run of the evening. Forced into an extra inning, Brenau was not able to score, leaving the game at 3-2 to the Lady Barons. Brenau out-hit Brewton Parker 8 to 6.
