Duggan Named SSAC Softball Player of the Week

Sally Duggan, a junior from Huntsville, Alabama was named the Southern States Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week for the week of April 14 – 20. The Tigers went 4-0 in SSAC play with all four victories coming on the road. Duggan was instrumental in all of the wins- going 10 for 15 at the plate, hitting a blistering .667 and racking up 7 RBI's in the process. She added another stolen base to her team-leading total and continued to play flawless defense in center field. The Tigers are currently 31-14 overall and 16-9 in SSAC play on the heels of a 10 shellacking of the NAIA's #3 ranked Lee University Flames in game two of last night's double-header. This marks the twelfth time in 2012/13 that a Brenau athlete has received this recognition.
