Golden Tigers Drop SSAC Tournament Opener

In the opening round of the Southern States Athletic Conference softball tournament, the Brenau Golden Tigers dropped the opening game to Spring Hill (Ala.) College 4-0.

The Golden Tigers allowed two early runs in the first inning and another two in the fourth inning. The offense failed to get started getting only two hits on the afternoon.

Anna Maness took the loss for Brenau pitching seven innings and allowing four earned runs and seven hits while striking out seven batters.

The Golden Tigers continue through the double elimination tournament facing Emmanuel (Ga.) College at 10 am on Friday.
