Golden Tigers Eliminated From SSAC Conference Tournament

After winning two games earlier in the day, the Brenau Golden Tigers softball team's run to the SSAC Championship fell short losing to #7 Auburn-Montgomery (Ala.) University 6-0.

The Brenau offense, with only five base hits, was unable to gain any momentum in the game. After surrendering a three-run home run in the bottom of the first, the Warhawks added three more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.

The Golden Tigers now wait for the at-large arnnouncements next week to see if they are selected for the NAIA National Tournament.
