#21 Ranked Softball Heads To SSAC Tournament

The Brenau softball team ended the regular season ranked 21st in the NAIA Softball Coaches' Top 25 poll and as the #2 East seed in the Southern States Athletic Conference tournament.

The SSAC tournament, played in Gulf Shores, Alabama, is a double elimination format that boasts some of the nation's best softball programs. Currently, the tournament has six teams that are ranked or receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25.

The #21 Golden Tigers face a tough first round opponent on Thursday in #15 ranked Belhaven (Miss.) University, the #3 seed from the West. The winner will continue in the winner's bracket to play #7 ranked Spring Hill (Ala.), the #1 West seed, while the loser will head to the loser's bracket.
