Peery Commits to Brenau Softball

Brenau softball announces the signing of Sarah Peery to the 2014-2015 team.
Peery is a native of Auburn, Georgia and a graduate of Mill Creek High School.
A standout infielder, Peery was honored by the Gwinnett County Diamond Club as a Gwinnett County All-County selection during her junior season. She was also chosen as Georgia High School 7-AAAAAA All-Region selection.
"Sarah is middle infielder with a strong arm who will help solidify our defense," said head coach Devon Thomas. "She also possesses good speed on the bases and power at the plate".
Peery plans on majoring Psychology.
The Golden Tigers softball team returns 12 players and adds a total of nine newcomers to the nationally-ranked program.
