Softball Inks Stephens County Standout

Brenau softball announces the signing of Lexie Cash to the 2015-16 team.

Cash is a native of Toccoa, Ga. and a graduate of Stephens County High School. She is the daughter of Rhonda and Danny Cash and played travel ball for the Southern Force Gold and head coach Dale Palmer.

Cash was named the Stephens County High School Offensive and Defensive Most Valuable Player during her career. During her junior and senior seasons, Cash batted over .400 and was a three-time all-region selection.

"Lexi is a smooth fielding middle infielder with a great arm and tremendous range and can sometimes make a difficult play look routine," said head coach Devon Thomas. "She possesses very good speed and has a consistent bat with some pop at the plate. She has a great work ethic and we look forward to her contributing early here next season."

Cash is the third signee for 2015-16 for the Golden Tigers.
