Downing Commits to Softball for 2021-22

The Brenau University softball team and head coach Devon Thomas announces the signing of Paige Downing to the 2021-22 signing class.

Downing, the daughter of Krista and Chris Downing, is a pitcher from Smiths Station High School in Smiths Station, Alabama. During her prep career, she was recognized as a two-time second-team All-Bi City team member.

When asked about her commitment to Brenau, Downing said, "I'm excited to be given an opportunity to play the next level and to be a Golden Tiger."

Downing was a member of Mu Alpha Theta honors society in high school and plans on majoring in exercise science while at Brenau.
