Softball Receives 2024 AAC Postseason Honors
Waleska, Georgia- Members of the Brenau softball team received 2024 Appalachian Athletic Conference postseason honors, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Senior Hannah Patridge received 2024 AAC All-Conference first-team recognition for her performance during the season.The Watkinsville, Ga. native hit .461 with three home runs and a team-best 45 RBIs. Among conference leaders, Patridge ranks second in RBIs and sixth in batting average.
Freshman Ava Moon was also named as a 2024 AAC All-Conference first-team member. The second baseman led the Golden Tigers with 28 stolen bases and posted a .404 average with 21 RBIs. She ranked in the top five in stolen bases in the conference in her inaugural season.
Fellow freshman Dayton Power also garnered 2024 AAC All-Conference second-team honors. Power hit .387 with one home run, 37 RBIs and 18 stolen bases. The Braselton, Ga. native ranked second in runs scored and RBIs and third in stolen bases for the Golden Tigers.
Additionally, senior Turner Cole earned 2024 AAC Champions of Character recognition for the fourth consecutive season. The Mountain Brook, Ala. native best represents the NAIA Five Core Values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
