Softball Receives NFCA Academic Honors

Louisville, Ky.- Twelve members of the Brenau University softball team have earned 2026 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) for their outstanding academic achievements.

Allie Busbee, Ava Moon, Breanne Brookshire, Cayden Warren, Charlotte Smith, Elizabeth Bowen, Emily Hall, Emma Folds, Malorie Watson, Natalie Shubert, Peyton Hawkins, and Riley Smith all were all recognized for their outstanding academic achievement this past year.

Athletes who achieve a 3.5 or better GPA on a 4.0 scale are recognized as Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes. The NFCA recognizes the top 10 academic teams (by overall GPA) each fall through the Easton/NFCA Top 10 Academic Team program.
