Brenau shot a blistering .793 (23-29) from the free throw line and forced 28 turnovers while staying even on the boards with the taller Barons. They also held BPC to .302 from the field (19-63) with good solid team defense. "There were times today when we played the kind of basketball that we need to play if we want to contend in the conference," said Coach Gary Bays. "I was particularly pleased that we bounced back from the loss at Southern Poly on Thursday." The Tigers will play next Saturday at home in a rematch with Milligan, whom they defeated earlier on the road.
