Brenau Basketball Celebrates Senior Day Saturday

GAINESVILLE, Ga - As the Brenau University Basketball team's regular season comes to an end they will be recognizing their senior, Amanda Parker, during their final home game this Saturday when they take on conference opponent Southern Wesleyan University, SC. The Golden Tigers have an overall record of 12-16 and are 6-11 in Southern States Athletic Conference standings.

Amanda Parker, a native of Snellville Georgia will be recognized for her dedication to the program in this Saturday's itinerary. Parker, a graduate of Shiloh High School, is a post player for the Golden Tigers. As a four year veteran she has really put her heart into the team. She has played in 22 games this season- her season high was against Truett McConnell where she helped her team to victory, scoring six points in the process. Parker will graduate with a degree in History/Political Science in May of this year.

Head Coach Kris Stewart commented, "Amanda has a high basketball IQ and a great feel for the game. We will miss her versatility on the floor and her leadership in the locker room."

Come out and support the Golden Tigers basketball team on Saturday in the Brenau Gym at 2pm. Cheer on the team and help them celebrate Senior Day!
