Harvey Named SSAC Player of the Week

The Southern States Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week was awarded to Gabby Harvey. Harvey, a 5-9 Senior forward from Lilburn, Ga., tallied two double-doubles in three games for the Golden Tigers. For the week, Harvey average 17.7 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.7 blocks, and 1.3 steals. Harvey shot 57.9% (22-38) from the field and 69.2% (9-13) from the line. In the win over Brewton-Parker College, Harvey played 40 minutes while recording 25 points and 20 rebounds. Harvey is leading the NAIA in rebounds per game, averaging 12.8 with second place at 12.32.
