Basketball Heads to SSAC Tournament

The Brenau basketball team heads to the 2016 Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) championships in Montgomery,Alabama on Wednesday in hopes of making a strong tournament run.

The Golden Tigers open the single-elimination tournament at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl on Wednesday at 1:30 pm central time against the College of Coastal Georgia. Brenau split with Coastal Georgia during the regular season, winning 48-41 at home, but falling 59-50 in Brunswick.

This is the first trip to the SSAC Tournament for the Golden Tigers since 2009-10.
