Flinn Named NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week
Kansas City, Missouri- Sophomore Jael Flinn capped off a stellar week of play by receiving National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week, the national office announced on Tuesday.
For the week, the 6'0 post averaged 14.0 points and 21.0 rebounds per game and was the defensive anchor for the Golden Tigers in wins over Columbia (SC) College and Columbia (SC) International.
In total, Flinn tallied 32 defensive rebounds and blocked 7 shots and posted back to back double-doubles to receive her first National Player of the Week honors.
