Golf To Open Inaugural Season On Monday

The Brenau University golf team will play in the first tournament in program history as they travel to the Emmanuel College Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.

Coach Damon Stancil notes the importance of playing in the first tournament: "Its a big day for Golden Tigers Golf. We start our year at the Emmanuel Fall Invitational, which hosts a very competitive field of NAIA and SSAC teams. It'll be a good test for our team to see where we stand in the conference".

The inaugural team, which consists of three freshman and one senior, will play in three additional tournaments this fall as they embark on their first full season.
