Alcibiade Commits to Golden Tigers Golf

The Brenau University golf team and head coach Jason De Jiacomo announces the signing of Ylenia Alcibiade to the 2020-21 team.

Alcibiade, the daughter of Micaela Bennasar Wilmers and Massimiliano Alcibiade, is a native of Cala Ratjada, Mallorca, Balearic Islands.

During her career at IES Llorenç Garcíes, she was won the Under-16 Balearic Championships and was the runner-up at the Absolute Balearic Championships.

According to Coach De Jiacomo, "Ylenia shows tremendous potential and will no doubt contribute to the BU Golf program immediately. She has dedicated much of her time to golf and has high expectations of herself. She will bring a great attitude, her competitive drive and first-class work ethic to Brenau! I am very excited to see what this young woman can become throughout her future here at BU!"

Alcibiade is the first signee for the golf program for 2020-2021.
