Golf Finishes Fifth at 2026 AAC Championships
Acworth, Georgia- The Brenau golf team placed fifth at the 2026 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Golf Championships, hosted by Governors Towne Club earlier this week.
The finish was the highest since 2021 for the Golden Tigers, which edged past Tennessee Wesleyan by two strokes to claim the spot.
Senior Morela Boyd capped off her Brenau career with a 17th place finish by shooting a +28 at the championships to lead the squad.
Freshman Emily Minish also had a strong showing in her first AAC championships with a +44 to claim top-25 status, while senior Harper Davis finished one spot behind her teammate to place 26th with a +55. Freshman Lainey Addison added a T35th finish (+77) in her inaugural championship appearance.
SCAD Atlanta won the overall team title (+51), while Truett McConnell (Ga.) (+73), Milligan (Tn.) (+74) and Pikeville (Ky.) (+76) round out the top team finishers.
