#25 Soccer Shutout By AUM

One unanswered goal in each half allowed Auburn-Montgomery (Ala.) University to defeat the #25 Brenau soccer team 2-0 on Thursday.

In the 25^th minute, AUM's Lila Remache beat Brenau keeper Tori Brown to give the Warhawks a 1-0 lead.

The Golden Tigers kept the score close for the next 35 minutes, but were unable to find the scoring mark.

In the 80^th minute, Remache sealed the victory for AUM as she notched her second goal of the match for a 2-0 lead.

Both teams took six shots on goal, with the Golden Tigers holding a 4-2 edge in corner kicks. Brown saved three goals to take the loss for the Golden Tigers.

Brenau (6-6-2, 1-4 SSAC) continues their road trip on Saturday when they face #12 University of Mobile (Ala.) at 6:00 eastern time.
