Soccer Falls at Tennessee Wesleyan

The Brenau soccer team dropped a non-conference match to Tennessee Wesleyan College 3-0 in Athens, Tennessee on Saturday.

After surrendering a goal in the third minute to the host Bulldogs, the Golden Tigers struggled to generate any offense during the remainder of the half.

In the second period, the offensive woes continued as the Brenau offense had only two shot attempts, while the defense surrendered two more goals to fall 3-0.

Keeper Anela Melton surrendered two goals with one save, while Ashley Spring also allowed one goal on two saves.

Brenau (3-3 overall) next travels to Bryan College on Wednesday for a 7 pm non-conference matchup.
