Soccer Signs Callas for 2017-18

Brenau soccer announces the signing of Mackenzie Callas to the 2017-18 team.

Callas was a three-year starter and senior team captain for the Dawson County High School soccer team. During her career, she twice received second-team all-region player honors, while also garnering her team's most valuable mid-fielder and hustle award. She also played club soccer for UFA Forsyth.

"I am excited to sign Mackenzie to our team as she brings a very competitive spirit and great passion for the game," said head coach Mike Lochstampfor of Callas. "She has the ability to make a difference as an attack oriented player with a very strong work ethic and a player that will create havoc for opposing teams!"

Callas, who plans on majoring in digital and graphic design with a minor in marketing, is the first signee of the 2017-18 class for the Brenau soccer team.
