Soccer Drops Non-Conference Match to Cumberland

The Brenau soccer team struggled to find their offense in a 5-0 loss to #21 Cumberland (Tenn.) University on Wednesday in Gainesville.
The Golden Tigers were unable to recover after giving up three first half goals to the visiting Phoenix.
Cumberlands outshot Brenau 20-3 in the match, while Golden Tigers keeper Anela Melton saved eight shots on goal.
Brenau (0-2-2 overall, 0-0-1 AAC) next travels to face Bluefield College (1-2 overall, 0-0 AAC) on Saturday at 2 pm eastern in Bluefield, Va.
