Ruff Commits to Golden Tigers Soccer

The Brenau soccer team and head coach Mike Lochstampfor announce the signing of Cassandra Ruff to the 2020-21 team.

Ruff, the daughter of Amanda Ruff, is a transfer from Georgia Military College in Millidgeville, Ga.

During her tenure at Georgia Military College, she earned Region 17 All-Region First-Team honors. Off the field, she qualified for the President's List for students with above a 3.70 grade point average.

As a prep athlete, Ruff starred at First Presbyterian Academy in Hinesville, Ga. where she was a three-time All-State defender. She also competed for the Richmond Hill Soccer Club Comets club team.

When asked about Ruff's commitment, Coach Lochstampfor noted, "I am thrilled that Cassandra has made the decision to join our program as she will be a tremendous addition to the team and specifically, our defense, this fall. She is a relentless defender with a great work ethic and comes with two years of collegiate experience from Georgia Military Academy - where she was recognized for her stellar play."

Ruff plans on majoring in nursing and is the third signee for the 2020-21 team.
