Sepulveda and Wilton Named as 2023 NAIA Scholar-Athlete
Kansas City, Mo.- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Wednesday that two Brenau soccer players have been named as 2023 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, the national office announced this week.
Brenau sophomore Gladys Sepulveda of Gainesville, Ga., and fellow sophomore Haley Wilton of Flowery Branch, Ga. were named as 2023 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
In total, 1,443 soccer student-athletes were identified as NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
