Tiger Swimmers Serve as "Brenau Angels"

Gainesville, GA- The Brenau swim team volunteered at the Tri2Remember Triathlon that was held at Laurel Park on September 19, which is an event designed to raise funds for the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimers Association. The team served as "Brenau Angels" and they functioned as lifeguards for the swimming portion of the race. The race consisted of a 400 meter swim, 13 mile bike ride and 5K run, and the entry fees go toward supporting the cause of research into Alzheimers. Coach Gabby Matthews and her husband Jarred volunteered along with the members of the swim team, which consists of Sarah Fell, Lucianne Kimura, Julia Ferreira, Megan Greely, Lauren Harville, Mairi Morrison, and Ana Galesic.
