Brenau Swim Coach Attends International Conference

Matthews recently attended the 2009 American Swim Coaches Association International Clinic held in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Pictured are, from left to right, Gabby Mathews, Jack Nelson, this year's inductee into the Swimming Hall of Fame and the only person in US swimming history to be both an Olympic swimmer (1956 Games in Melbourne) and an Olympic Swim Team Head Coach (1976), Fernando Soraggi, former National Swim Coach of Brazil, and Coach Marta Hannah of CCAC - Dalton, GA. Jack nelson was born and raised in nearby Chickamauga, GA and played High School football in Lafayette.
