Swim Team Hosts Fundraising Clinic

Gainesville, GA- The Brenau swim team, with the corporate sponsorship of Papa John's Pizza, hosted a fund-raising clinic on Saturday, Nov. 28 for the purpose of assisting two Brenau athletes. Mafubo Ujeneza, a member of the swim team, was called home to her native Ruwanda upon the death of her younger brother and needs funds to help with the airfare. Former softball player Tori Fobb has been battling a brain infection, and has incurred medical expenses not covered by insurance. The brainchild of Coach Gabby Matthews, the swim team wanted to do their part to help these two students out in their time of need.
