Brenau wins Tri- Meet against Berry and LaGrange

LaGrange - The Brenau swim team returned to action today and came up big with a convincing win over Berry 62-28 and LaGrange 62-28 in the Lagrange Tri-Meet. The Tigers dominated the competition with first places in 10 of the 11 events that were conducted. Newcomer Hannah Boudreaux was particularly impressive, qualifying with "A" cuts in all events she competed in for the NAIA National Championships in February.
Top times were turned in by Lisa Portwood- 1000 free (11:27.64) and the 100 back (1:05.01). Boudreaux - 200 fly (2:13.18), 200 IM (2:16.17) and 100 breast (1:12.22). Ana Galesic - 50 free (26.74) and Melissa Bofto- 100 fly (1:06.83).
"The team did an outstanding job this weekend and came out on top with a win for the Golden Tigers," said Head Coach Blaire Bachman. "Our girls are working extremely hard in practice and enjoyed the opportunity to compete in one of our last dual meets with LaGrange and Berry.
