Hannah Boudreaux Named Golden Tiger of the Week
March 8, 2011
Gainesville, GA - For the second time this year, Hannah Boudreaux has been named Brenau University's Golden Tiger of the Week. It is evident that Boudreaux, a sophomore from Lafayette, Louisiana, had a defining week at the NAIA National Champions in St. Louis. Within just a few days, this Golden Tiger was able to set 2 new personal best times, while also breaking 3 school records!
As recorded earlier this week, Boudreaux is the first swimmer from Brenau, since 1978, to stand on the podium at Nationals. She acquired this honor by receiving a record breaking time of 2:11:46, in the 200 IM. The sophomore did not stop there though, she kept her focus clear and finished 14th in the 400 free relay, 7th in the 400 IM, and 5th overall at Nationals.
