Rookie Michelle Billeaud led the way in the 100 freestyle, with a time of 54.7. In the 50 breaststroke, veteran all-star, Hannah Boudreaux, made an impressive time, with 32.4.
Coaches decided to add points to the teams' score for spirit and support. With that said, the black team defeated the white, 535 - 505.
Coach Blaire Bachman commented, "Our inter squad meet was fun, spirited, and a great opportunity to create some competition between team members. This was a chance for us to let loose and have fun racing. Now we need to look ahead to our first invitational this upcoming weekend, at Converse College."
