Michelle Billeaud Named 'Golden Tiger of the Week'

Michelle Billeaud has been named Brenau University's "Golden Tiger of the Week" for the week of Jan.30 - Feb.4th. Competing in her last regular season meet against NCAA II Limestone and Converse College, Billeaud made her mark in the Brenau Swimming record books posting a time of (1:01.95) in the 100 Individual Medley. In addition, Michelle took first place in the 100 Butterfly (59.44), crushing the competition. Billeauds best times in the 50 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle, 200 Backstroke and 100 Butterfly rank her top three at the conference level and well within the top 10 at the NAIA National level.Her best event to date is the 100 Backstroke, where she enters the NAIA National Swimming Championships seated second to Fresno Pacific senior, Cheyanne Coffman.
