Boudreaux Named Golden Tiger of the Week
February 23, 2012
Hannah Boudreaux has been named Brenau University Athletic Department's "Golden Tiger of the Week" for the week of February 13 - 18th. At the Appalachian Swimming Conference Championships last weekend, Boudreaux was unstoppable as she went to the podium on three occasions and broke two conference records in the process!
Boudreaux's performance at the conference meet led to records in the 200IM and the 200 Fly. Additionally she set three new school records and took first place in all three of her individual events - the 200IM with a time of 2:09.48, the 400IM (4:35.10), and the 200 Fly (2:07.46). She was also a critical member of the 400 Free relay team which placed 2nd overall and the 800 Free relay team which placed third overall, bringing her medal count for the weekend to five.
"Hannah continues to be a force to be reckoned with and her performances at the ASC Championships were no different. Now a three time conference champion, she is focusing on our NAIA National Championships where she is looking forward to best times and top performances. We are so proud to have Hannah as a Golden Tiger!" - Coach Blaire Bachman
