Golden Tigers Dominate on Second Day

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Day two of three in Oklahoma and the Golden Tigers have moved into 9th place overall, following Friday night's finals session.
The highlight of the evening was Hannah Boudreaux's remarkable 2nd place finish in the 400 IM, producing another school record and All American status. Additionally, freshman Michele Billeaud topped the podium with a 5th place finish in the 100 Backstroke (58.24). Meredith Barrington dominated the 100 fly (58.54) crushing the previous school record and finishing in 12th. Senior, Julia Ferreira made her first national finals debut in the 100 Breaststroke, touching the wall in 16th place (1:11.00). Both the 200 Free Relay (1:40.49) and 400 Medley Relay (4:02.75), qualified for the championship finals heat and rounded out the successful day with two more school records.
In total, Brenau has visited the nationals podium six times. The Golden Tigers will complete their time in Oklahoma with the prelims and finals session on Saturday.
