Brenau Swimming Signs Frey For 2014
Coach Blaire Bachman announces the signing of Sarah Frey to the Golden Tigers swim team. Frey is the first commitment for the fall 2014 season and will be major in pre-Physical Therapy.
Frey, the daughter of Jeff and Ann Frey, began swimming at the young age of four and has continued competing with the year-round club team, Summit Chase Aquatics. The Lawrenceville native has established herself as a state qualifier every year, competing in the 200 breaststroke, 200 IM, 400 IM and 200 freestyle. Her fast results have allowed her to letter for the Brookwood High School Swim Team each year.
When asked why she chose Brenau, Sarah said, "I love the school and the team, Brenau is a perfect fit for me. In addition to the hard work, perseverance, and determination, you need the right surroundings to succeed. Brenau offers that and I will be able to excel in both the classroom and pool."
"Sarah is a great student-athlete and has such a passion for swimming, it's evident in her attitude and in the way she swims," commented head coach Blaire Bachman. "Her times and achievements to date will put her in good position to go after a NAIA National title in the Breaststroke and IM events. I expect she will be a huge contributor to the Golden Tigers individually and in relays and we are excited to have her choose Brenau!"
