Kosater Signs With Brenau Swimming
Head Coach Blaire Bachman announces the commitment of Madison Kosater to the Golden Tiger Swim Team for fall 2014. Kosater, a native of Macon, GA., is the daughter of John and Debbie Kosater and currently swims competitively year round for Swim Macon.
Inspired by her older brother's decision to join the sport, Madison became a swimmer at the age of three and has since developed into a Georgia Senior State Qualifier and varsity swimmer at Mount De Sales Academy. Her determination to meet and exceed personal goals led her to multiple top-50 swims at the Georgia Long Course State Championships in July 2013.
When asked about why she loves swimming, Madison responded, "The sense of achievement I get from swimming is so rewarding, and there's nothing like reaching a goal you've worked hard for."
Madison also explained her decision for choosing Brenau saying, "I love everything about the team, and when I went for my official visit I felt like I would really enjoy being there for the next four years. I'm so happy to be a part of such a great team and can't wait for next fall."
"We are thrilled Madison chose to become a Brenau Golden Tiger. With her commitment, we have added speed and depth to our freestyle, butterfly, backstroke and IM events," said head coach Blaire Bachman. "She will be a big contributor in individual events, and will give our sprint relays another strong leg. I expect Madison will make a huge mark both on our program and within the NAIA."
