Hodgetts Named ASC Swimmer of the Week

Alisha Hodgetts was selected as the Appalachian Swimming Conference Swimmer of the week for her performance at the Berry Invitational.

Hodgetts helped set six pool and meet records as the Golden Tigers took second at the 5^th Annual Berry College Viking Invitational. The freshman from Perth Australia took home three individual victories and three relay victories on the day. Hodgetts individual victories came in the 100 Butterfly (57.64), the 100 Freestyle (53.69), and the 200 Butterfly (2:12.22); all three individual swims broke pool and meet records.

Hodgetts helped bring home three relay victories as well. She split 24.48 on the 200 Medley Relay (1:51.59), 1:58.37 on the 800 Freestyle Relay (7:57.93), and 53.75 on the 400 Freestyle Relay (3:41.52); all three relays set new pool and meet records. Hodgetts' current conference ranks include the following: 50 Freestyle (9^th), 100 Freestyle (4^th), 100 Butterfly (1^st), and the 200 Butterfly (5^th).
