Jabbia Named ASC Swimmer of the Week

Brenau swimmer Mary Katherine Jabbia (JR/Slidell, La.) was named the Appalachian Swimming Conference swimmer of the week for her performance against NCAA Division II Limestone (S.C.) College.

Jabbia started off the day by splitting 31.12 on the breaststroke leg of the second place 200 medley relay (1:50.41). She would go on to finish second in the 200 IM in 2:15.49 and finish up the day by winning the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.50.

Jabbia's current conference ranks include the following: 50 freestyle (16^th), 100 breaststroke (3^rd), 200 breaststroke (5^th), and the 200 IM (7^th).

The Golden Tigers look ahead as a team to next week's Appalachian Swimming Conference championships and to the following NAIA National Championships in two weeks.
