Swimming Honored By National Organization
The Brenau University swim team was recognized by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their academic performance during the 2016-17 season.
The Golden Tigers was designated as a Scholar All-American team as the squad led the entire NAIA with a 3.63 cumulative team grade point average. Union (KY) finished in second place with a 3.61 grade point average, while Lindsay Wilson (Ky) College placed in third with a 3.58.
The College Swimming Coaches Association designated a total of 658 swimming and diving teams as Scholar All-American team, which represented 388 total colleges and universities.
