Swim Team Members Earn Academic Recognition

Eight Brenau swimmers were honored by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their academic performance during the 2015-16 academic year.

Sarah Frey, Courtney Hayward, Alisha Hodgetts, Devin Horan, Ella Kleinschmidt, Madison Kosater, Maria Soledad Morell Quiroga and Margaret Norton were among 853 total swimmers that were recognized from across the country for their outstanding achievement.

The award winners must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale during the 2015-2016 season.

The honor topped off a banner year under new head coach Nate Rhodes as the squad placed third at the NAIA national championships and earned numerous other athletic and academic All-American and All-Conference awards.
