Hayward Named ASC Swimmer of the Week

Courtney Hayward was selected as the Appalachian Swim Conference Female Swimmer of the Week for the week of October 30th-November 5th for her performance against UNC-Asheville.

The Townsville, Australia senior won the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:38.26 and placed third in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:16.56. In the relays, Hayward swam a 34.62 split in the 50 breaststroke and a 26.62 in the 50 freestyle.

The Swimmer of the Week is voted on by head coaches from the Appalachian Swim Conference, which is comprised of NCAA II and III, NAIA and USCAA institutions.
