Dowling Named AAC Swimmer of the Week

Senior Lindsay Dowling was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week for her performances this past week, the conference announced Monday.

The Winston, Georgia native led all NAIA swimmers by placing third in two backstroke events at the SCAD Savannah Invitational. She swam 56.83 in the 100 and 2:06.36 in the 200 to pace the Golden Tigers.

Additionally, she swam in four relay events and helped her team post season-best times in all four races.

This is her first weekly honor this season.
