Swimming Competes at Converse Invitational
Spartanburg, South Carolina- The Brenau swim team earned a second place finish at the Converse Invitational, hosted by Converse College this past weekend.
Freshman Cloe Barthelemy took top honors in the 100 freestyle with a time of 54.82. The Mus, France native also raced to a time of 1:02.53 to place third in the 100 butterfly.
Barthelemy also joined the 400 free relay team of Bayley Blackmon, Bailey Ibarra and Melanie Wicht to capture first place as the Golden Tigers posted a time of 3:54.16 to roll past the host Valkyries by almost two minutes.
Additionally, the 200 medley relay team of Callie Edens, Haley Bartoletta, Vivianne Fuentes and Emily Giles also earned second place in 2:08.34.

The Golden Tigers next head to Kingsport, Tennessee for the 2022 AAC Championships on February 10-12th.
