Bell Named AAC Swimmer of the Week

Waleska, Georgia- Sophomore Sophie Bell earned Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Swimmer of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Bell, a native of Atlanta, Ga., won the 100 backstroke and the 100 freestyle, and added a second place finish in the 200 IM. She also helped the 200 medley relay to a first-place finish.

This is Bell's first AAC Player of the Week honor and the second AAC Athlete of the Week recognition for the Golden Tigers this season.
