Bell Earns Second AAC Swimmer of the Week Honor

WALESKA, Ga. - Sophomore Sophie Bell was named as the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week for the second consecutive week, the league announced on Monday.

Bell won the 100 backstroke in a time of 57.50, which ranks as the fastest time in the AAC and the fifth-best time in the NAIA. She also garnered a third-place finish in the 200 backstroke (2:07.62) as well as a fifth-place finish in the 50 freestyle (24.39).

She also helped her squad perform well in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays and in the 200 medley relay.
