Bell and Bukowska Continue Strong Performances at 2026 Swimming Championships
Elkhart, Indiana- Sophomore Sophie Bell and junior Olga Bukowska continued their strong performances at the 2026 NAIA Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday.
Bell placed second overall in the 100 backstroke to earn her second All-American honors of the season. Bell finished in 54.29, which set a new Brenau swimming record, previously held by former Golden Tiger standout Talia Sola (54.76), which was set in 2015.
Bukowska made her presence known at the championships with a personal best 4:34.07 in the 400 IM. The time was the fastest in the "B" heat and allowed her an overall 9th place finish.
Bell and Bukowska will hit the pool again on Saturday as Bell competes in the 200 backstroke and Bukowska takes on the 200 butterfly.
