#6 Tigers Cruise Into Quarterfinals

Mobile, AL- The #6 Brenau tennis team cruised into the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Championships today with a 5-0 victory over #9 Northwood, FL. The Tigers only had to play two of the doubles matches due to an incomplete squad and injuries to Northwood. The #1 team of Kate Mazackova and Lyn See Choo won easily over Moggia and Herran 8-2, and Jolene Wong/Liubov Orlova came out on top 8-4 over Novakova and Duarte. Brenau is now 12-9 for the season and Northwood finishes as 10-7.
Next up for the Tigers will be #4 ranked Pt. Loma Nazarene, who will enter the match at 19-3 for the season and fresh off a win today over Lindsey Wilson, KY. That match will take place tomorrow (Thursday) at 10 am.
