Choo and Mazackova Eliminated in Semi-Finals

New Orleans, La - Lyn See Choo's run in ITA Regional tournament singles play was brought to an end by Jade Curtis, AUM's number 1 player by a score of 6-1, 6-2. Curtis, a top ranked British junior, missed very little in the match and although Choo had many game points she was unable to find that winning shot to put the game away. The rallies were long and hotly contested with each player waiting for an opening to go for winners. Choo then joined Katarina Mazackova for the doubles semi-final against the number 2 AUM team of Curtis and Hajkova. The AUM team came out on top by a score of 8-3, the Brenau team started to play well towards the end of the match but were too far behind in this pro-set format to be able to mount a comeback. The Tigers will travel to Alexander City next week to participate in the Central Alabama Invitational, the final fall event.
