Tennis Team Competes Well at Converse Invitational

Spartanburg, S.C.- The Golden Tigers tennis team competed well at the Converse College Invitational over the weekend.

Coach Andre Ferreira was enthusiastic about the team's play and had this to say after seeing some of the new additions to the team. "It was a good tournament to kick off the fall season. We have a couple of big events coming up at the end of September and mid-October so it was important for us to get some match play early in the season. With a large incoming class, we will have a lot of work on and off the courts over the next few weeks, but it was great to see the level and talent of our new players. It is an exciting team, with tremendous potential."
